Assistant Coach: Mr. Xi Ming Yao (VC parent and former world mixed doubles champion)
Badminton at Vancouver College resurrected in 2002. Since then, the team has captured five out of the past six Lower Mainland Championships and has qualified for the Provincial tournament five times.
After three consecutive second place finishes in 2005, 2006, and 2007, VC/LFA went 18-0 during the 2008 season on their way to either school's first provincial championship title in history. In 2008, over 160 high school teams competed in badminton across British Columbia.
