Tennis is open to students in Grades 8 - 12 who are not currently participating or planning to participate in another VC school sport. The top twelve (12) players from the tryout sessions are chosen to represent Vancouver College.

Vancouver College teams up with Little Flower Academy to compete in the Vancouver Zone against Senior Division West Public schools. The regular season spans April and the first part of May with playoffs occurring during mid-May. The provincial Championships take place at the end of May.

As the majority of school tennis play is in the doubles mode, the coaching staff endeavors to develop skills required for proficient doubles play to meet the demands of senior competition. Attendance during practice sessions is a must. Practices are held Mondays through Thursdays and occassionaly Fridays from 3:45 - 5:30 pm at the Queen Elizabeth courts.

Tennis Season 2010-11 School Year - The 2011 Tennis schedule will be determined by the Vancouver School Board in March.
