Sense of family and tradition through parents’ support

Parents Association

By sending your son to Vancouver College you have chosen a school that values parental support and relies on your involvement to maintain the many activities that enrich the learning environment at Vancouver College.

The Parent Participation Program was developed to offer families unique opportunities to become more actively involved in their son's education. Parents are required to volunteer 30 hours throughout the year at many of the events organized by the association. It continues to be a success in providing a service to the College, as well as fosters a sense of community amongst parents, students, and staff.

Parents organize and carry through a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year. The three major initiatives are the Finnegan Ball, the Mothers' Christmas Party and Mayfair. In addition, parents are heavily involved in supporting roles for events such as Walk-a-thon, Youth 4 Life day, and others.
