From the Principal re: Traffic Guidelines

To help ensure the safety of our children, the Vancouver College Parents Association has formed a very dedicated and effective parking and traffic control team. It has become increasingly difficult to get parents to volunteer for this committee because of sometimes challenging conditions and increasing lack of cooperation by our parent drivers.

I want to take this opportunity to remind all drivers that for the safety of our students, I expect all parents to comply with all our regulations, every time they drive to our campus.

Please do not drop off in the staff parking lot as only staff members are allowed to enter this area. Your son can walk from the designated drop off locations to the school considering all drop off locations are close to an entrance.

Please follow the designated drop off and pick up zones (click on map for visual reference):

• Elementary School - 38th Avenue exiting left on Hudson Street to 37th Avenue and then east or west to Oak or Granville;
• Middle School – Cartier Street and continuing to 37th Avenue and then exiting to Oak or Granville;
• Senior School – Hudson Street exiting to 41st Avenue.

Families with 2 or more children in multiple grades should drop off only in one zone.

I need you to please support our Traffic Control Team. Please let us start the year right by working together in keeping our children safe!
