Allocation of PP Hours
Cap Restrictions on Hours Earned:
- Meeting Attendance- Parents will receive one (1) PP hour for attending any VCPA General Meeting.
- Library Assistance – maximum of ten (10) PP hours per family.
- Parent Parking Patrol – for the safely of the Elementary Students, we ask all Elementary Parents take responsibility for at ;east one (1) PP hour per school year on 38th Street.
- Walkathon – a maximum of five (5) PP hours per family may be allocated to the volunteer. Walkathon can accept a maximum of thirty volunteer families only.
- Youth for Life and Pro–Life – maximum of ten (10) PP hours per family which includes a maximum of two hours for home baking.
Baking and Food Guidelines:
For any of VCPA's three major fundraising events (e.g. Mayfair, Mothers’ Christmas Tea, and Finnegan Ball), a maximum of five (5) PP hours per family may be earned from baking. Items must be homemade, hours will not be awarded for purchased baked goods.
One (1) PP Hour will be awarded for bringing in:
- One cake or pie or ginergread house
- One dozen biscotti or tarts (regular size)
- Two dozens cookies, shorbread, mini tarts
Two (2) PP Hour will be awarded for bringing in:
- One jar of preserves, antipasto, chutney, jellies (i.e. Jalapeno, wine, red pepper), or specialty chocolate sauces
- One Fruit cake
- One Christmas loaf
For events other than the three major fundraising events, please note:
- Youth of Life – maximum of two hours for home baking per family
- Pro-life - maximum of two hours for home baking per family
- Other Events - maximum of two hours for home baking per family
