Vancouver College is one of the top schools in the province, largely because of the dedication of its faculty and staff and also because of the commitment and hard work of caring parents. The VCPA plays a key role in building our community and contributes to the betterment of the school. Last year, we organized many successful events and raised funds used to buy equipment, sponsor events, school teams, and fund bursaries. We encourage all Vancouver College parents, whether returning or new to the school, to fully participate in building our faith and learning community and create a good environment for our sons. The VCPA’s primary role is to: encourage participation (
PPP) in school activities by all VC families; facilitate cooperation and dialogue within the school community; raise funds for “special projects” as determined by the school’s administration (see list of last year’s projects and activities); and promote and assist with charitable activities outside of the school in order for students to put their Catholic faith into action. The VCPA organizes three major fund raising events: Finnegan Ball,
Mothers' Christmas Tea, and
Mayfair.
