Student Services

The Department of Student Services provides a variety of services and resources to the Elementary, Middle, and Senior Schools. These include personal counselling, post-secondary guidance and counselling, academic planning and academic advising.

The Department is located in the Student Services Centre in Blessed Edmund Rice Hall. The Centre provides a research and study area with computers for students to pursue their post-secondary research or study. The Centre also houses a large library of post-secondary and self-help materials, as well as the offices of Mr. Accili, Ms. Beck, and Mr. Taggart.

Mr. Greg Accili, Academic Counsellor and Post-Secondary Counsellor: Mr. Accili manages all course changes, course/credit information, academic advising for students in grades 11 and 12, course guidance, and post secondary guidance and assistance.

Ms. Monica Beck, Registered Clinical Counsellor, Personal Counsellor and Post-Secondary Counsellor, Department Chair: Ms. Beck provides short-term counselling, referral and resources, as well as post-secondary guidance and assistance.

Mr. Brian Taggart, Planning 10 Teacher and Academic Counsellor. Mr. Taggart coordinates/teaches the Planning 10 course, and provides academic advising to students in grades 10 and 11.
