Daily Prayer

Today's prayer is by Matteo Ferroato (Mrs. McDonald's Drama 11/12 class)

As a faith and learning community we begin our day,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God we praise and thank You for the gift of this day and for the night’s rest.

God, please enlighten our minds with truth;

Inflame our hearts with love;

Inspire our will with courage;

Enrich our lives with service.

Please help guide anyone in our community who is sick or suffering the loss of loved ones.

We pray especially for Johannes, that he is returned to good health and back with us soon.

May everything we do and say today be guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we Celebrate the Value and Dignity of Each Person, and Nurture the Development of the Whole Person.

Blessed Edmund Rice….. Pray for Us.

Live Jesus in our Hearts…Forever.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Easter Vigil, held the Saturday night before Easter Sunday, is traditionally the first celebration of Easter.

This year, Norbertine deacon frater Joachim (Anthony Aldaba VC '04) sang and served with Pope Francis at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. He had the distinct honour of assisting with the Paschal Candle and served as cantor, singing the Exsultet.
