Dr. Estello Nap Hill (VC'11) was featured in the Vancouver Sun! Now doing his residency in Vancouver, he worked his first shift together with his mother, Nurse Dee Nap, at St. Paul's Hospital. Working their first shift together as mother and son were coming full circle for them. It was at St. Paul's where his mother gave birth to him.

"Growing up with a single mom wasn't easy. It was my mom and me against the world!"

Today, Estello is a representative of the Black Physicians of B.C. He uses the hashtag #BlackMenWhiteCoats on social media as part of a movement to let other Black young men know that they are not alone.
