End of an Era!

Bishop Mark Hagemoen (VC’79) Appointed Bishop of Saskatoon

Vancouver College is honoured to announce that on September 12, 2017, Bishop Mark Hagemoen (VC’79) was appointed 8th Bishop of Saskatoon by Pope Francis.

The 44th Annual VC Golf Tournament

The 44th edition of the Annual Vancouver College Golf Tournament was reformatted this year from a “fun raiser” to a fundraiser, a well received change. The winning foursome of Danny Goepel (VC'94), Geoff Dear (VC'96), Tyler Federal (VC'94) and Paddy Mahoney (VC'96) came in with a respectable -17 team score to claim 1st prize for another year. Well-done gentlemen!

On December 7th, we hear from internationally acclaimed photographer Finbarr O’Reilly (VC’89), who has spent more than a decade working in Africa and the Middle East. He has won the World Press Photo of the Year Award, the highest individual honour in news photography.
