Step 1: Get to know Vancouver College
We encourage you to read through our “Frequently Asked Questions” as some of your questions or concerns may be addressed there; however, if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at registrar@mail.vc.bc.ca.
Step 2: Ensure you have the required documents ready to upload
- A recent picture of your son.
- Denomination of Faith:
- Academic Records:
- A copy of your son's report card/assessment for the current school year.
- A copy of your son's final report card from the previous school year.
- Your son’s IEP or CMP documents, if applicable.
- If your son is an international student, please see the below for required documents.
- Citizenship:
- If your son is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident:
- A copy of proof of the student's Canadian citizenship (Birth Certificate or Citizenship Card) or a copy of proof of Permanent Residence (Permanent Resident Card or Record of Landing).
- Proof of parental Canadian Citizenship.
- Proof of Residency Address (ie. recent copy of a utility bill, mortgage document, rental agreement, or tax assessment).
- If your son is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident:

- Please also be sure you have access to:
- A printer
- A Visa or MasterCard to process the $175 one-time, non-refundable Application Fee.
While Vancouver College accepts international students, space for such students is limited given that the school serves the local Catholic community.
International Students apply as all other applicants; however, they are required to submit specific supporting documents (in English or officially translated into English).
Step 3: Apply
- If this is your first time using the system: Create a new account. You will only need to do this once per family and can use the same login information if applying for multiple sons.
- If you have already used this system to complete an application in the past: Use the login information (email address/password) previously registered.
- Required fields are marked as "Required" and Vancouver College will receive the data exactly as it is entered. Please be careful of spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
- If you need to exit your web browser at any time during the application process, please ensure you save your work by clicking on your initials on the top right side of the webpage, and then clicking "Save & Sign Out”.

All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application by the first week of March 2022.
Step 4: Interviews (K, Grades 7 and 8 or Placement Exam (Grade 4)
Grade 7 and 8 Applicants - Candidates for Grades 7 and 8 are asked to be available for a video interview on January 28, 2022. All candidates who submitted their application before the January 11, 2022 deadline will be contacted for an interview.
Grade 4 applicants - Candidates for grade 4 will be required to take a placement exam on January 19, 20, 21, and 26, 2022
Applicants for all other grades are placed on a waiting list, and should an opening occur, families may notified accordingly.
