Daily Prayer

By Trevor and Tej in Ms. Robles Class

As a faith and learning community we begin our day,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God, we thank You for the gift of our lives and for this day:

Today is the memorial for Saint Teresa of Avila. She was a Carmelite nun whose many theological writings and meditations enables her to become one of the first women to be called Doctor of the Church. According to her, prayer is a way of coming into living contact with Jesus Christ.

God, Thank You for my parents They guide me in life by their example and their helping hand. They teach me how to do things and help me with my homework. They work hard for our family and make me laugh. Thank You so much for my parents. Please bless my mom and dad, God, and let them know how much I love them.

Good luck to the Varsity Football team in their game against Belmont tomorrow on O'Hagan Field. Make us proud. Go Irish Go!

Be present with us as we strive to live our lives guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we "stand in solidarity with those marginalized by poverty and injustice".

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Blessed Edmund Rice….. Pray for Us.

Live Jesus in our Hearts.…Forever.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
