Daily Prayer

Friday, March 15th, 2019

Today's morning prayer is by Pius Lau and  Sam Harris from the Senior Edmundians.

As a faith and learning community we begin our day,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God, we praise and thank You for the gift of this day and for the night’s rest.

As spring break in just around the corner, we pray that everyone who is travelling stays, and is able to enjoy themselves and relax with their time off. We also pray for those who have embarked on the multiple school service trips, that they are able to touch communities in a positive way, and that they are able to have a life changing experience which they will remember forever.

Finally, we pray for students who have been overwhelmed by school and other activities, that they are able to take time over the break to relax and have some time off before entering the last stretch of the school year.

We also keep in our hearts and prayers  the victims and those who have been affected by the massacre in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Be with us Lord, throughout this day in our teaching, learning, and all of our activities.

Support us in our collective and continuous commitment to creating a faith and learning community where the dignity and well-being of each and every person is celebrated, nurtured, and respected.

May everything we do and say today be guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we “Pursue Excellence in All Endeavours”.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Blessed Edmund Rice….. Pray for Us.

Live Jesus in our Hearts…Forever.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
