Daily Prayer

Prayer for Monday   Nov. 18, 2019

By Bryan Cho and Jack MacDonald in Ms. Wong's Advisory

As a faith and learning community we begin our day,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God we praise and thank you for the gift of this day and for the night’s rest.

As we reflect this week, we pray particularly for all the people who may be struggling with mental illnesses; may they find  love and support in    their friends and family.

We also pray for people struggling to get by everyday that they may find strength and persevere through any hardships.

We pray for all the sports team athletes, that they may play to the best of their abilities and stay injury free.

We also pray for those affected  by the gun violence at Saugus High School  in California last week that they recover  and find peace within their lives.

Be with us Lord throughout this day, in our teaching, learning and all our activities.

Support us in our collective and continuous commitment to creating a faith and learning community where the dignity and well-being of each and every person is celebrated, nurtured, and respected.

May everything we do and say today be guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we “evangelize youth within the mission of the Church”.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen

Blessed Edmund Rice….. Pray for Us.

Live Jesus in our Hearts…Forever.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
