Daily Prayer

Friday, May 24, 2019

Today's morning prayer is by    Ethan from Ms. Lloyd's Grade 4 class.

As a faith and learning community we begin our day,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God, we praise and thank You for the gift of this day and for the night’s rest.

We pray for Father Garry, that his knee feels better soon, and we pray also for the children who are homeless, sick and do not have what we have.

We pray that Mary, our Mother, continues to guide us and help us to be more like Jesus.

Finally, we pray for the middle and senior school boys as they begin to prepare for their final exams.

Be with us Lord, throughout this day in our teaching, learning, and all of our activities.

Support us in our collective and continuous commitment to creating a faith and learning community where the dignity and well-being of each and every person is celebrated, nurtured, and respected.

May everything we do and say today be guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we “Pursue Excellence in All Endeavours”.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Blessed Edmund Rice….. Pray for Us.

Live Jesus in our Hearts…Forever.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
