One World One Heart
The 10th Annual One World One Heart Social Justice Conference is going to be a day to remember! On this day, students from grade 8-12 will gather at Vancouver College on April 14 to partake in this faith-based conference.
The OWOH team is proud to showcase a new set of speakers devoted to social justice issues in their communities and around the world.
Faith in Action
This year, our breakout sessions feature Vancouver College’s very own Faith in Action team and the Bumpin Bakery team. Twelve students from Vancouver College make up this year’s Faith in Action team. They are living in solidarity with the community in Brownsville, Texas. This team will be serving economically challenged families on this Mexico-United States border, which includes teaching English and cleaning up the community.
