Mark Watson (VC’95)

Mark Watson (VC’95), a former educator, athlete, and administrator, is currently the CEO of ABI Wellness, an organization that provides rehabilitation programs designed to enhance the quality of life for those with brain injuries and concussions. 

Prior to his leadership role in the cognitive rehabilitation field, Mark worked in the special education industry, implementing curriculum for students with learning differences. He was the Principal of Eaton Arrowsmith School, a special education school that uses cognitive exercises to help rewire the brain so neural pathways crucial to learning can be activated.  

Mark has seen firsthand the positive impact of cognitive rehabilitation and aims to help others lead more fulfilled and independent lives. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of brain injury rehabilitation and has presented this work to public health agencies, BC Cancer, The NHL Alumni Assoc., and the NFLPA Washington State to name a few. Mark also serves as a member of the integrated health advisory board at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
