Gifts directed towards to the Financial Assistance Program allow Vancouver College to see its mission through by ensuring the continuance of the unique dynamics of the school’s student body. This diversity enriches each student’s educational experience through the promotion of openness and understanding.

The generosity of your benefactors and donors has greatly eased the burden felt by parents. Your school's vision for the needs of all students is to be commended.” Principal - CISVA School, Vancouver
2019 Golf Tournament
The 46th Annual Vancouver College Golf Tournament, presented by Wilson Beck Insurance Group, was a huge success! The sky cleared up and the golfers had a great round of golf on one of BC’s most prestigious courses - Marine Drive Golf Club. Some of the highlights were the golf cannon at the signature hole, hole-in-one to win a car, and hit the green for a chance to win the Bushnell Shift Rangefinder.
This year marks the inaugural Irish Cocktail Party. Guests were served with choice champaign accompanied by live music. At the end of the round, the golfers joined in and gathered to bid on the silent auction items on their mobile devices through Givergy, an online bidding platform we employed this year.
First place goes to the foursome of Monika McIsaac, Joe Narodowski (VC'99), Josef Narodowski, and David Narodowski with a respectable -15. Well done, lady and gentlemen!
Many thanks to MC and Auctioneer Angus Reid (VC'94) and to all our guests who supported the event. All proceeds raised from the golf tournament go towards the Vancouver College Bursary Fund Program, which ensures that no boy is denied a VC education due to financial reasons.
We express our sincerest gratitude to all the sponsors, the golf organizing committee, the VC Alumni Association, and our many volunteers. Thank you for putting together such an amazing event.

2018 Golf Tournament
The 45th Annual Vancouver College Golf Tournament, presented by Wilson Beck Insurance Group, had a great turnout this year! The Irish eyes were smiling on us as the sky opened up and the rain subsided for a great round of golf on one of BC’s top courses - Marine Drive Golf Club. Some of the highlights were the axe throwing competition at one hole, hole-in-one to win a car, and hit the green for a chance to win a trip to Osoyoos.
Participants arrived for registration at 10:30 and were given golf swag bags with goodies and a pack of golf balls. Some of the golfers teed off for a shotgun start at 12:45 after a hearty barbecue lunch.
The winning foursomes were captioned by Brad Newman-Bennett (VC’89) and Pat Whalen (VC’90) both tied for first place with -16. Well done, gentlemen!
Many thanks to MC and Auctioneer Jim Kelly (VC'79), who did a wonderful job as the stunt double for Angus Reid (VC'96). All proceeds raised from the golf tournament go towards the Vancouver College Bursary Fund Program, which ensures that no boy is denied a VC education.
We express our sincerest gratitude to all the sponsors, the golf organizing committee, the VC Alumni Association, and our many volunteers. This event would not have been made possible without your help.
2017 Golf Tournament
The 44th edition of the Annual Vancouver College Golf Tournament was reformatted this year from a “fun raiser” to a fundraiser, a well received change. Marine Drive Golf Course was secured as the new venue with Corex Gold Corporation as the title sponsor. Participants arrived as early as 10 am for the barbecue lunch, friends, and extra practice at the putting green/driving range. There was a full field of golfers (144 people), and the sponsorships sold out.
As much as things change, some things stayed the same. The winning foursome of Danny Goepel (VC'94), Geoff Dear (VC'96), Tyler Federal (VC'94) and Paddy Mahoney (VC'96) came in with a respectable -17 team score to claim 1st prize for another year. Well-done boys!
Thank you to MC & Auctioneer Angus Reid (VC'94) who did a wonderful job with an enviable list of live and silent auction items. All money raised goes towards the Vancouver College Bursary Fund.
Sincerest thanks to the sponsors, the organizing committee, the Vancouver College Alumni Association Board , the numerous volunteers, and the VC students (rowing team, golf team, and yearbook club) who each played an integral role in this successful event.
2016 Golf Tournament
The 43nd Annual Vancouver College
Golf Tournament
On September 15, 2016 a host of golfers teed off in the early afternoon to lay claim to the lowest foursome. We could not of asked for a nicer day as the sun took the temperatures up to 20 plus degrees providing for summer like conditions.
Special mention to the '94 class which had seven participants.
The Mahony x2, Dear, Goepel foursome obliterated the field with a 20 under showing after showering the course with birdies and eagles.
Thanks to Tony Gallagher for MC'ing and for our Sponsors including: Crowe MacKay LLP, Fitterer Electric, Mahony and Sons, Ceilis Irish Pub, Kearney Funeral Services, Hartshorne and Mehl.

2015 Golf Tournament
The 42nd Annual VC Alumni Tournament began in British Open like conditions this past September. 68 golfers headed out on to the UBC course to stake a claim to low individual net and low team net.
By the time the last foursome had finished the sun was shining and the friendly banter continued into the clubhouse for a great meal and subsequent trophy presentation by the master of ceremonies Tony Gallagher '66.
Class of 1990 was well represented by two foursomes including the winning low net team of Troy Bailey, Warren Groom, Peter Fahrmann and Michael Hansen.
Low net winner was the perennial favourite Harry White '63.
Many thanks to our sponsors for continuing to support the tournament year after year.
