Visual Arts Program

VC's visual art classes give students a chance to creatively actualize their ideas and emotions, and learn to look critically at the visual world around them. Students learn techniques in drawing, photography, painting, image manipulation and sculpture to help them convey their ideas, create mood and effect and comfortably express themselves through artistic means.

Music Department

Students and Parents are strongly encouraged to visit our Band webpage for further information including practice schedules, handouts,  and details on VC's music program.

There are eight ensembles within the music department at Vancouver College providing enrichment and performing opportunities for students from Grades 7 to 12. We have a proud history that goes back to 1947 and are very involved with school and community events. Vancouver College Band ensembles travel internationally and provincially to participate as well as compete in local and regional music festivals. We strive for excellence and believe that success in music leads to success in life.

Theatre Department

The Theatre Department offers students the opportunity to engage in a wide range of theatrical experiences such as major productions, technical theatre, frequent theatre visits, and more!    There are three major productions each year;   A major musical or play (alternating yearly), A Night with VC Talent (a K-12 talent show), and the BC Catholics One Act Play Festival.
