The Vancouver College football program, which counts its origins to 1929, continues to flourish today with almost 200 young men participating in the program from Grades 8-12. We believe we are the largest program in the province. The football season begins in August each year and concludes with the championship in December.
The Irish have been to the Varsity Provincial Championship game on a number of occasions and have come back with the championship trophy four time with the most recent being 2019. Our Head Coach, Todd Bernett, is in his 18th season at the helm of the Irish and at the completion of the 2009 season was already the winningest coach in Irish history.
